An assisted living/personal care home is a home so unique, you feel a sense of being a part of an extended family.
These types of homes are devoted to caring for individuals who are unable to live alone. The homes are small, with less than 25 residents and staffed 24-hours per day. The staff provides assistance or support with their activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, grooming, ambulating, dressing, toileting and assisting with medications.
Each home has its unique personality and amenities. For example, some homes are located in a country setting with large, spacious yards while others are located in the city near urban support systems.
